The Town of Ashland is pleased to announce that Mr. Charles “Cliff” Goldsborough has accepted an offer from Town Manager Joshua Farrar to become the Town Finance Director.
Mr. Goldsborough earned his BA in English & Literature, with a Minor in Political Science, in 2005 from the University of Rhode Island, and earned his MBA in Business Management from Tulane University Freeman School of Business in 2016. He is currently pursuing the Master Governmental Treasurer Certification administered by the Treasurer’s Association of Virginia.
Mr. Goldsborough joins us from the City of Richmond Finance Department where he served as Operations Manager in charge of Treasurer Functions. He previously served as the Business Analysis Manager for the City of Richmond, and prior to that was with the City of New Orleans Finance Department from 2011 to 2017.
Mr. Goldsborough and his wife Brittany live in Richmond and are excited at the opportunity to join the team in the “Center of the Universe”. He will begin his new role with the Town of Ashland on March 25. Please contact Joshua S. Farrar, Town Manager for more information.
