Junkluggers of Central Virginia is an eco-friendly junk removal company that takes an environmentally responsible approach by working with local area charities and nonprofits to donate, repurpose and reuse the items they pick up instead of dumping everything needlessly into local landfills. They specialize in appliance removal, estate garage cleanouts, and removal of large items, such as hot tubs, pianos, old sheds, etc.
Opened in 2017 by Andy Taylor, Junkluggers of Central Virginia serves Ashland, Richmond, and surrounding counties throughout Central VA.
In response to COVID's impact in 2020, Andy adjusted his business model and in June of 2021 opened the free-standing ReMix Market in Ashland. Located at 625 N. Washington Highway, ReMix Market is a furniture and home décor resale store featuring household goods, antiques, collectibles, and more. They are open Tuesday-Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-3pm.
“We love the intimacy of having our business based in Ashland. We are blessed to be able to impact local charities and families right where we live and work every day,” said owner, Andy Taylor. “We take pride in being able to make a difference in our local community and make it a better place for all Ashland and Hanover residents.”
