The Town of Ashland Parks & Recreation Department wants to ensure all Ashland youth can partake in local recreational opportunities. As part of this effort, Ashland’s Town Council budgeted funds to provide financial assistance for Ashland residents within a specific household income spectrum who have youth interested in attending a summer camp, joining a sports league, or participating in a similar recreation-related program.
Open to Town of Ashland residents, applicants whose income falls between 100% and 200% of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services poverty level can apply to receive a partial scholarship of 50% of the cost of the program, up to $200.
Applications and scholarships will be awarded on a first come/first-served basis with the application period closing on May 18th. This program is contingent upon annual funding approved by Town Council.
