The Town of Ashland and our Parks & Recreation Coordinator, Emmy Houck, were recently featured in two Parks & Recreation Magazines.
The January edition of the National Recreation & Parks Association magazine featured a quote from Emmy about the Share the Air program, which was adopted by the Town's Parks & Recreation Committee last summer.
Ashland also made the cover of the Virginia Recreation and Parks Society magazine's Spring 2023 issue for a special event featuring renowned parks advocate and expert, Dr. John Crompton, in December 2022.
We are so proud of Emmy and the wonderful work she's doing to raise the profile of Ashland's parks and our efforts to enhance the quality of life for all in Ashland!
